You will find sandwiches (bread) all around the world, Rome, Copenhagen, New York City, but "A little-known secret is the world's best sandwich is to be found on the streets of Vietnam. It starts with a light baguette grilled over charcoal. After a bit of mayonnaise and a thin layer of pâté, the crust is filled with meat, crispy pickled vegetables and fresh vegetables then it is often spiced with a few drops of soy sauce and spicy chilli spice. This simply delicious Banh Mi, Baguette, (sandwich) was featured in the World's best street food article in The Guardian in December 2012.

Funeral Ceremony in Vietnam – The Celebration of Life and Death

Sometimes when travelling through Vietnam, you may see a van decorated with dragons, quite sophisticated looking and with colorful painted panels, ornately decorated with red and gold. This is a Vietnamese hearse. There will be people dressed in white leading the hearse and more following, musicians playing gongs and drums and people carrying banners as well as throwing notes and coins to the ground from the hearse as they pass. A photo of the deceased will be boldly displayed on the side of the hearse. But what should you do if you see a funeral procession or if you are invited to attend a funeral in Vietnam?
