for visiting Vietnam

Best travel Apps (applications for mobile) that we mention in this post are based on our own experiences. Whatever way you are travelling to Vietnam, these could help optimize your trip to a much better level. Before you start your trip, lets install them first & and learn how to use them. The great new is that the Internet infrastructure in our country is pretty good. Wifi is always available in Hanoi, Hochiminh City, Danang or Cantho. 3G & 4G packages for a 7–14 day trip will cost about 10–25 USD.
So let’s get started

2 . Google Translate - best travel Apps connect the locals

With the local guides, everyone will help you by explaining our culture and history and places to see and most guides speak a little or a lot of several languages, if not many. But at night or when you have some free-time and you want to reach to local restaurants or markets, Google Translate can make communication so much easier. It is a free multilingual machine translation service developed by Google, to translate text. It offers a website interface, mobile apps for Android and iOS. Tips 1: Go into Google Translate – choose Vietnamese – and download offline translation. Now, you can have a live conversation with the locals Tips 2: Don’t forget you can also scan to translate with your camera. For example, there are many panels along the street, street signs, Vietnamese restaurant menus, shop signs, just scan and the app will translate the words into your language.
This is one my favourite best travel apps when i am overseas.

3. Foody – The best trave Apps for local food

Many companies provide meals as part of your tour itinerary, or even street-food tours. But when you want to explore different restaurants or find a good local café, you can find out the best places, see reviews, photos, videos, and even the dishes…Give feedback on the places you have visited, save places into a collection to share with the Foody community. Reserve your seats at middle and high-class restaurants with many fascinating promotions, exclusive to Foody app users.
Note: the reviews are mainly posted by locals, so please remember sometimes our tastes may not be the same as yours. But the joy of independent travel is to try different places, foods and experiences. If you’re unsure about any place you can use Tripadviser to check what the tourist reviews say.
